43k points. One platform at the bottom of the screen, followed by THREE platforms at the top of the screen. Unavoidable game over :))))))))))

Nice game as always, a bit frustrating at first but once you get the hang of it it gets fun.
One question: is level 24 even possible? I'd appreciate a hint, cause I'm stuck doing the same moves all the time...

Rob1221 responds:

The end of level 24 involves bringing 4 blocks to the left at the same time, including the single block that doesn't stick.

How can a game like this not have a save feature? Once you close the game you lose all your progress and have to start from scratch, so for medals like the last one you have to complete 300 big puzzles in one sitting, what the hell.

I'd give a 5 stars if it weren't for that, since I enjoy this kind of games the most.

***SPOILER FOR MEDAL HUNTERS***

In the secret minigame you can go to the upper side, right-click and click on the bottom of the screen. Repeat this until 3k points. It's still hard but not as much.

I actually liked this one, the concept is very original and is well implemented.
However, there were things that I didn't like and could be improved:
- The bouncing of the bullet was way too weird and unpredictable; this cost me a death several times. Also, sometimes the bullet would just keep bouncing in parallel, so the only solution was to reset or wait 10 long minutes for a guy to show up within that route.
- Coins were hard to collect, so I'd suggest making them bigger, and maybe increasing their appearance rate. Upgrades were fine, just that they were hard to purchase because of the coins thing.
- The lack of music or sounds in general. Really, just a short song from Newgrounds (giving the proper credit to the author) and some sound effects for the bullet, the enemy bullet killing the guys and the purchase of upgrades would make a huge difference.

All in all, it's a fine game for killing some minutes.

The game suddenly froze (no joke intended) and didn't let me restart the level when I was getting close to the end, and.......... you guessed right! The game doesn't autosave!
Such a pity because the game is fun and original but there's aaaalways a flaw...

Edit: as the review below me says, what I encountered was that stupid bug that breaks the game if you pass a level without collecting any bubble. I played through it all again and got to the end, whew.

WTF???? Did you really feel the need to include a jumpscare for literally no reason at level 4? And thank god I didn't have sound on...
I was really enjoying this game despite being a basic platformer until that point, thanks for the mini heart attack.

The fact that all the medals, including the one for beating the rock solid levels, are worth 5 points seems like a joke. Especially considering that the game becomes SO laggy after a while, having to refresh it because it becomes unplayable. I also struggled to beat the minigames because of the lag.
Anyways, I love the Shift series so I'll go with a 3.5, that's the best I can give after all.

It's so nice to have you back. I love your games man, they're so cleverly designed with such simple but original concepts.

Oh wow, I reached level 100, it even shows in the scoreboard, but no medal unlocked. Just wasted 2 hours of my life for nothing, so cool!
